David grew up in a rural part of the Garden State. Despite the bad reputation New Jersey has for it’s over development, David cultivated a deep appreciation for open space and locally grown produce. With twelve years of restaurant experience and a degree in Agricultural Economics, he decided that the Pacific Northwest would be the perfect place to continue developing his love of the outdoors. He was drawn to Bamboo because it offers the perfect balance between an outstanding culinary experience and a respect for sustainable sourcing. When not working, he enjoys biking, baking, foraging, and cats.
